SAMOTHRACE: Additional Dates With Conan And Mantar Announced As US Tour Begins

[poster by Plagued Visual Designs]

SAMOTHRACE, having kicked off their latest US tour over the weekend, has added several one-off dates since previous broadcasts – including a show with Atriarch in Sacramento, California – and new shows featuring SAMOTHRACE, Conan and Mantar have also been added in Salt Lake City, Utah, as well as Memphis and Johnson City, Tennessee. This comes on top of the other rogue shows the band has planned on their own along the routing, including a set at What’s Left Presents Seven-One-Grind Fest alongside a list of carnage including Capitalist Casualties, Weekend Nachos, Theories, Connoisseur, Destroyer Of Light, Hummingbird Of Death, Primitive Man, and many others in Colorado Springs, Colorado on May 30th, closing their leg of the tour.

View the entire SAMOTHRACE tour routing below and stand by as additional one-off shows may be added in the coming days as the band hits the road once again. SAMOTHRACE is also constructing material for a still unnamed split release with some good friends from down South, as well as their next LP to be recorded later this year.

Seattle’s quintessential, exploratory doom metal quartet, SAMOTHRACE, will be bring their dredging, slow-motion, organic, tonal exodus across the country, performing tunes from both of their revered LPs, the monumental Life’s Trade debut and equally admired Reverence To Stone follow-up. Since the 2012 release of Reverence To Stone, the band has toured Europe twice — once for Heavy Days in Doomtown III in 2013 and again for Roadburn Festival in 2014 — yet outside of random performances, they have not been able to tour heavily in the US in quite some time, and the band could not be more excited to get back out onto the road to interact with their stateside fans once again. In addition to new merch and both albums, SAMOTHRACE will bring an extremely limited supply of their Live at Roadburn 2014 LP with them on the road while supplies last.

For fans not in the range of this tour, the vinyl represses of Life’s Trade and Reverence To Stone are available via 20 Buck Spin store right HERE, as well as via the SAMOTHRACE Bandcamp page with new merch options HERE.
