Directly in the wake of releasing I Shall Not Survive Another Winter on the Fall Equinox, less than a month later experimental horror outfit GRIDFAILURE issues more new material in several forms.

“Vultures Amassing Through The Night” is an original new track GRIDFAILURE created in recent weeks specifically for Svbterranean.net, and their new Razor Blades & Chocolate compilation; a free digital collection curated by Svbterranean that compiles various noise, drone, darkwave, industrial, experimental and generally spooky sounding acts for the Halloween season. The release features tracks from Small Craft, Malicious Wonderland, SlugChewer, Asucré, Guillermo Pizarro, Lament Cityscape, Crowhurst, Opul, Ehnahre, Many Blessings, Michael Ellingford, White Suns, Never Presence Forever, Derelict Satellite, Megalophobe, and GRIDFAILURE. “Vultures Amassing Through The Night” delivers seven-and-a-half-minutes of harrowing and brutalizing tones recorded in creeped-out overnight sessions, both indoors and out.

GRIDFAILURE also recently created a video for “Cabal,” the short lead track to I Shall Not Survive Another Winter. See the “Cabal” video HERE, and find the album at Bandcamp HERE and Soundcloud HERE.

GRIDFAILURE will also take the Halloween season to launch a new open-ended series of EPs under the collective title When The Lights Go Out. While many of the outfit’s upcoming records embody more pronounced structure, percussion, lyrics, and vocal construction, When The Lights Go Out will bear sparse percussion and discernable lyrical direction, focusing more on atmospheric horror soundscapes and supernatural auras, invoking one’s childhood fears while aiming at creating new ones within the listener.

When The Lights Go Out has just been completed and will see its release on Tuesday, October 31st – Halloween; watch for details to see release in the coming days, and expect much more from GRIDFAILURE in the months ahead.
