Hallucinogen, the psychedelic new album by mysterious French black metal entity BLUT AUS NORD, has been released today through Debemur Morti Productions ahead of its planned October release, the album now streaming in its immersive entirety.
BLUT AUS NORD‘s Hallucinogen was recorded and mixed at Earthsound Studio, mastered by Bruno Varea at Upload Studio, and completed with incredible, psychedelic cover artwork by Dehn Sora.
“Hallucinogen marks a new stage in our process of perpetual regeneration,” BLUT AUS NORD architect Vindsval offers. “Music is a fascinating quest without end… and it would be a mess to express the same range of emotions, a mess to remain frozen in the same aesthetic, the same energy, a mess to compose and release the same thing again and again… and again.”
Debemur Morti Productions writes of the decision to release the album early, “Considering the album is spreading with no respect to its creators, we’ve decided to release the BLUT AUS NORD album earlier than expected. We’ll be shipping the CD/Cassette version to people who pre-ordered it next week. Vinyl isn’t here yet, thanks for your patience. Our eternal thanks to those who respect our work.”
