Having made their live debut in April, including a set at Decibel Magazine’s Metal & Beer Festival, black/gloom metal collective WORM has announced a three-city tour across their home state of Florida in September.
Necromancy Over Florida will see WORM performing on September 21st in Miami, September 22nd in Orlando, and will end in Tampa on the Fall Equinox, September 23rd. Support acts will be announced in the weeks ahead.
WORM’s Phantom Slaughter declares, “Greetings. It is with great pleasure to announce that our next live run will be in the ancient marshlands of Florida. We are extremely honored for the opportunity to haunt the birthplace of this band.”
Tickets for Necromancy Over Florida will go on sale this Friday, July 21st at 10am Eastern at THIS LOCATION.
After joining the 20 Buck Spin roster, WORM released their third LP, and first domestic release, Foreverglade, in 2021, to widespread critical acclaim. The album was followed by the haunting Bluenothing EP in 2022 which raided the Billboard Current Album Sales charts, and at the top of 2023, the label reissued the band’s seminal second album, Gloomlord.
WORM is currently plotting additional live excursions and the release of new recorded material. Watch for further updates to post over the months ahead.
