NOISEM: Thrash Assassins Release Video; Free Download Of Debut LP This Week

Today, Baltimore’s thrash assassins, NOISEM, just released a high-action video for “Severed,” the track hailing from the band’s debut LP, Agony Defined, released in June via A389 Recordings. The clip was captured by multiple cameras during the band’s searing set at this year’s Maryland Deathfest, produced by Pendragwn Productions, edited by Madison Hartke-Weber, and showcases the undeniably lethal capabilities of this young crew of thrashaholics.

“Severed” is now playing at Toxicbreed’s Funhouse, who in their review of Agony Defined declared the album “filled to the brim with mind shredding guitar solos and excellent thrash sections that channel the golden era material of thrash legends like Anthrax, Slayer and Testament combined with the straight forward death metal assault that recalls Cannibal Corpse’s blunt death metal attack on steroids,” right now, RIGHT HERE.

This week only, A389 and NOISEM are running a sick sale on Agony Defined, offering low prices on the CD and LP formats of the album and even making the tracks available via Bandcamp for free/name your price; check it HERE.

NOISEM will continue to rage on-stage all year in support of the whiplash-inducing Agony Defined, with late Summer and Fall dates confirmed, including a spot on the upcoming A389 label Summer Extermination later this month where they’ll will bring down Baltimore alongside Ringworm, Municipal Waste, Power Trip, Full of Hell and Impalers, a slew of dates through the south with labelmates Full Of Hell in September, and a spot supporting Pelican and Coliseum in Washington DC in November. Stay tuned for a slew of additional bigtime NOISEM news bits in the coming weeks.

“…the album bares its teeth from the beginning and doesn’t fuck around, never wasting time with superfluous solo wankery or pointless acoustic departures. 8/10” – Decibel Magazine

“Fast, pissed off riffage, stunning solos and bombarding blast beats flirt with one another to create one of the meanest albums of the year. From beginning to end, this album is a full-on force of thrashing godliness. There isn’t a single dull moment… 10/10” – American Aftermath

“Fresh produce is better than soggy lettuce, and like their aging forebearers once did, Noisem harness their youthful grasp with expertise.” – New Noise Magazine

“Noisem rips through these nine tracks and aims to fuck you up…Noisem may have stepped up the death metal game with Agony Defined.” – Cvlt Nation
