MEGATON LEVIATHAN To Join Wolves In The Throne Room Tour Tomorrow!

Portland, Oregon doom-gazers MEGATON LEVIATHAN will join Wolves In The Throne Room on the already-in-motion Celestial Lineage tour for a near two-week East Coast run of dates starting tomorrow Known for their elaborate stage productions and stunning live visuals, MEGATON LEVIATHAN take their listeners on a ritualistic journey that transcends far beyond the boundaries of rock ‘n’ roll.

The band recently reissued their underrated 2009 self-titled demo EP on limited-edition vinyl through their own Volatile Rock Records. Offering up 35-minutes of raw, ethereal riffing and postrock atmosphere, the remastered demo is limited to 500 copies and will be available throughout the tour.

Said the band in a collective statement: “The candles are lit, the knives are sharp, the sage is smoldering. It’s been lovely reading all the great reviews and working on our set for the Celestial Lineage dates. Our altar lurks in the belly of WITTR’s tour bus awaiting our arrival in Philadelphia. This tour marks some big changes for us and we hope you all like the new stripped down MEGATON LEVIATHAN. We’ve striven to maintain the monolithic quality that we’d reached as a four piece and believe we have more than succeeded. We’re looking forward to tickling some third eyes and inspiring some vision quests. See you out there.”
