The Tide Of Death And Fractured Dreams, the latest full-length from UK death metal trio INGESTED, is out today on Metal Blade Records!

Since their fifth album, 2020’s Where Only God May Tread, INGESTED has been on a creative tear that has produced almost a full record every year, each displaying the kind of musical growth that only comes from constantly practicing, playing, and writing. The Tide Of Death And Fractured Dreams is not only as innovative and brutal as their last disc — the bleak, firestorm Ashes Lie Still — it showcases a band willing to expand its creativity without sacrificing the ferocity that made it one of the most impressively destructive, technical death metal bands on the scene. The Tide Of Death And Fractured Dreams is proof that once INGESTED sniffs out a trail of musical blood, they ravenously follow it until they’ve uncovered a festering feast.

Whether pummeling listeners with double-bass rolls, blast-beats, and grinding rhythm; breaking it all down with jagged, staggered riffs, and piercing harmonics; or flooding the mix with rapid-fire bursts of minor key melodies, INGESTED has injected all of their experience, skill, and artistry into ten trenchant new tracks.

In celebration of the release, today the band unleashes a video for “Endless Machine.”

Comments vocalist Jason Evans, “’ ‘Endless Machine’ is about the day to day grind you get stuck in, when you haven’t found the courage to get up and take charge of your own situation. Take a deep breath, embrace the risk, and don’t get stuck in an endless machine with no way out. So, sink your teeth into the live mayhem of this new video and expect the same carnage on our upcoming tour with Fallujah, Vulvodynia and Melancolia.”

INGESTED prove over and over again that they can still surprise us. When they stared out in 2006, they surprised everyone with their ability to hang with more established US deathcore bands and even outdo them. Now they prove that they can take that sound and be more than heavy, loud, and shocking as they dig deep and get artistic.” — MetalSucks

Simultaneously riotous and controlled, this is modern death metal at its smartest.” – Blabbermouth on “Starve The Fire”

“Intense, unforgiving, brutally crushing yet captivating and addictive… A heavy slab of extreme metal expertly polished and punishing. Ingested have produced one hell of an album with The Tide Of Death And Fractured Dreams that is guaranteed to make devastating waves indeed.” – This Day In Metal

“The Tide Of Death And Fractured Dreams exhibits a considerable degree of musicality, which is expressed in sophisticated arrangements, sophisticated riffs and strong clean vocals sprinkled in here and there. The Korn vibes on ‘In Nothingness’ (with Chimaira singer Mark Hunter) and the atmospheric instrumental ‘Numinous’ are also cool. Anyone who likes deathcore will enjoy this record.” — Rock Hard Germany

“…one hell of a fun ride and easily one of the best records released so far in 2024.” — Distorted Sound

“…a powerhouse of a record, showing that Ingested is still at the top of their game.” — New Noise Magazine

“…a rock solid effort that is absolutely worthy of the UK’s legacy of great metal.” – The Metal Pit

“Over the course of ten tracks, INGESTED showcases a rare ability to bridge genres, all the while maintaining a strong grip on the ferocious death metal with which they first clawed their way, kicking and screaming, into the limelight. Brilliantly produced and arranged, and performed with conviction, The Tide Of Death And Fractured Dreams will ride high in album of the year lists, and deservedly so – it is a towering colossus of metal.” – Sonic Abuse

“The record is a cornucopia of various death metal influences all tied together in a cohesive package by Ingested’s trademark take on each. This large tool chest allows them to make every song crushingly heavy while keeping the record fresh with variety.” — Metal Digest

“…a brutally good listen and definitely INGESTED’s best work to date.” – Metal Talk
