HOWL Posts New Lyric Video; Band Prepares For SXSW Takeover

Today the maniacal riff wranglers of HOWL are pleased to discharge the new lyric video for “Attrition,” from their upcoming new offering of audio wreckage entitled Bloodlines. Recorded at the infamous Planet Z Studio in Hadley, Massachusetts with Chris “Zeuss” Harris (Soulfly, Crowbar, Municipal Waste, 3 Inches Of Blood et al), Bloodlines is a 40-minute torrent of sonic animosity recommended for fans of Mastodon, Lamb Of God, Kingdom Of Sorrow, Baroness, Kylesa and the like.

“Slaughter your will, this is no room for thinking! Go on into the almighty void, surrender your being.” And while you’re at it, check out “Attrition”:

The ten-track Bloodlines will see North American release via Relapse Records on April 30th, April 26th in Germany, Benelux and April 29 in the UK and rest of Europe. Preorder packages are available HERE.

As a precursor to the record’s official unveiling, HOWL is currently en route on a mega run of live assaults. The tour includes a glut of SXSW appearances beginning with a slot on MetalSucks’ official SXSW showcase alongside Goatwhore, Norma Jean, Royal Thunder, KEN Mode and Gypsyhawk and more as well as the official Relapse Records/Chaos In Tejas Showcase. Commended for their distinct brand of “furious, bone-crushing, head-splitting doom” by MetalSucks, and their “huge riffs, excellent tone and an attitude not usually seen in bands with this much groove” by Crustcake, HOWL unleashed their Full Of Hell debut to unsuspecting ears in 2010. Gushed in a near perfect rating of the record: “Full Of Hell isn’t just one of the best metal debuts of the year. It’s likely to be one of the best metal albums of the year.”
