Seattle harsh/death metal trio HISSING has announced a run of West Coast North American tour dates for early 2019 in support of their debut LP, Permanent Destitution, released in October through Profound Lore Records. The tour sees HISSING paired with Oakland’s brutalizing Abstracter, with dates running from February 22nd through March 2nd.

Permanent Destitution was engineered and mixed by Brandon Fitzsimons and mastered by James Plotkin. With already being at the mercy of HISSING‘s punishing sound fabric, that added touch of droning noise segments, also crucial to the band’s sound, mixed with the doomy industrial components become that final element to make Permanent Destitution a towering monument of primal avant-deathnoise.

Permanent Destitution is out now through Profound Lore on LP, CD, and digital platforms. Place orders for the CD and LP HERE, CD and digital HERE, Euro orders for the CD and LP HERE, and iTunes HERE.

HISSING‘s blown-out, fucked up death metal is abrasive and horrible and utterly off-putting, and I absolutely love them for it. They’re like if Knelt Rote was into early Morbid Angel instead of Conqueror…” – Noisey

“In what might be the most explicitly evocative record of the year, HISSING‘s Permanent Destitution captures the sonic equivalent of overwhelming nausea unlike any other. From production to style, HISSING appear dead-set on deterring listeners, and for most that will likely be the case, but for those masochists who can bear the grating disgust of HISSING‘s sound, there is some sublime filth to be had here.” – Exclaim! Magazine

“…it is difficult to locate any moments of tedium or poor execution in this latest effort, and in a year of dauntingly impressive debuts, Permanent Destitution stands tall as a monument of hideous, inhuman metal.” – Invisible Oranges

“This is an album that makes you forget reality. It doesn’t invoke sadness, or anger. It promotes fear, uneasiness and makes you want to bash your head into a cold stone wall over, and over trying to forget that you have stumbled upon something so powerful, and enlightening that you cannot comprehend or begin to understand. The insanity that is HISSING will be the talk of metal extremists for a while.” – Cvlt Nation
