FEAR FACTORY: No. 72 on The Billboard 200 Chart; Band To Appear On The Bruce Dickinson Friday Rock Show

Mechanize, the new album from FEAR FACTORY, sold 10,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 72 on The Billboard 200 chart. The album has registered the following first-week chart positions so far:

UK: #7 (Rock Albums)
Germany: #31
Sweden: #51
Canada: #67
USA: #72
Netherlands: #83

Mechanize was released in the U.S. on February 9, 2010 via Candlelight Records. It marks the band’s seventh studio album and features original FEAR FACTORY members Dino Cazares (guitar) and Burton C. Bell (vocals) alongside bassist Byron Stroud (credited on the last two FEAR FACTORY albums in addition to touring and recording with Strapping Young Lad and Zimmers Hole) and legendary drummer Gene Hoglan (Death, Dark Angel, Strapping Young Lad, Testament). The CD was co-produced by the band with Rhys Fulber (Front Line Assembly, Paradise Lost) and mixed by Greg Reely (Front Line Assembly, Paradise Lost, Skinny Puppy).
