They’ve been off the road too long — nearly two-and-a-half weeks now — and for the Beer City assassins ENABLER this is completely unacceptable.
After inundating Europe with Rotten Sound and Martyrdöd in March of this year, ENABLER blasted the North American Midwest throughout much of April and May, and then earlier this month did an ultra-intense ten-date tour of Australia. Now, as August begins, the quartet will embark on a seven-city East Coast tour based around their performance at this year’s massive This Is Hardcore fest in Philadelphia where they’ll perform on Friday, August 9th alongside Modern Life is War, Tragedy and others. In addition to This Is Hardcore, Chicago, Columbus, Pittsburgh, Brooklyn, Cambridge and Dayton will all get an aural flogging from ENABLER on this swift but vicious week of live warfare.

ENABLER‘s brutalizing Shift Of Redemption EP was released in April via Think Fast! Records. Recorded by Shane Hotchstetler at Howl Street Recordings, mixed by Chris Common (Pelican, These Arms Are Snakes), and mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege (From Ashes Rise, Sleep, High on Fire), the four-song 7″/digital release picks up directly where last year’s acclaimed All Hail The Void LP on Southern Lord left off, flowing with the hateful, impulsive and extremely infectious hook-and-breakdown-fueled frenzy ENABLER is so good at delivering. Listen to Shift Of Redemption in its enraged entirety HERE.
Stay tuned for other ENABLER news stories in the coming weeks including new releases, tours and more for the rest of 2013 and beyond.
