BURNT BOOKS: Full Album Streaming At Invisible Oranges As Tour Begins

With their self-titled debut album now just days from official release, Columbia, South Carolina’s eclectic punk quintet BURNT BOOKS today take to the streets on their extensive run of regional Winter live actions. Kicking off in Charleston, the outfit will riot throughout Georgia and their home state alongside Whores, ASG, Nuclear Blast Suntan and more over the next two weeks.

Born of alumni from local acts Guyana Punch Line, Thank God, .fuckingcom, Tunguska and more, BURNT BOOKS‘ self-titled debut album officially hits stores this Tuesday, January 29th via At A Loss Recordings. Over a half-hour of diverse, angular hardcore/punk comes to life with vocalist Zoe Lollis’ growls, wails, and mocking tones coalescing with the high-paced and artistically-reconfigured punk/noise angular riff madness, with interludes of simply clean vocals and banjo. The album was recorded at The Jam Room with Phillip Cope (Kylesa, Baroness, Dark Castle), mastered by Colling Jordan (YOB, Twilight), and bears cover art by Sam Ford (Black Cobra’s Invernal).
