BrooklynVegan will host the exclusive Northeastern screening of SLOW SOUTHERN STEEL this Saturday at the Knitting Factory in Brooklyn, New York. SLOW SOUTHERN STEEL is the long-anticipated southern metal documentary produced by Rwake vocalist CT. The film peers into the world of true southern metal/doom as well as “living and growing up in the bible belt” through live footage and personal interviews with some of the area’s most notorious cast of characters including members of Eyehategod, Hank III, Kylesa, Torche, Dark Castle, Zoroaster, Weedeater, and many more.
The screening will take place at 10:00pm, will feature FREE Jagermeister (for a limited time) as well as an appearance from director, CT. Following the film, Knitting Factory will host performances from Cough, Apostle Of Solitude and Earthling. Click HERE for ticket info.
