BRAVE THE WATERS: Chapter 1 – Dawn Of Days Debut EP From NYC Instrumental Duo Now Playing At New Noise Magazine

Chapter 1 – Dawn Of Days, the maiden recorded works from New York City-based BRAVE THE WATERS, is now just days from release. While the duo’s other endeavors, Buckshot Facelift and Grey Skies Fallen, both deliver extreme output, with this new venture they explore lush, percussion-free, clean instrumental guitar and bass passages, the lot of which can now be explored in their entirety through an early stream at New Noise Magazine.

Created by Tom Anderer (bass guitar, acoustic guitar) and Rick Habeeb (guitar), both of whom also perform in death/doom quintet Grey Skies Fallen and blasting hardcore/grind henchmen Buckshot Facelift, BRAVE THE WATERSChapter 1 – Dawn Of Days debut EP was created with an improvisational, synchronized jam style. Spontaneously created with exceptionally minimal planning, and soaked in Strymon’s Big Sky Reverberator, some of the record’s six winding songs were envisioned and recorded in a half hour.

New Noise Magazine is now streaming BRAVE THE WATERS’ Chapter 1 – Dawn Of Days EP in its entirety at THIS LOCATION.

Reminiscent of several styles at once, yet emerging as its own being, Chapter 1 – Dawn of Days is immediately comforting, almost familiar release, its winding passages inspiring visions of lush nature and rebirth. BRAVE THE WATERS will independently release the album digitally on Tuesday, May 12th, with a physical version to materialize sometime in the future, alongside additional recorded works from the duo, as well as both of their other main acts.
