Following their epic march alongside Insomnium and Omnium Gatherum last month, Finnish folk metal warriors, ENSIFERUM, will return to North American soil next week on a co-headlining journey with countrymates, Korpiklaani. Slated to embark on May 6th in Los Angeles, the band will pillage nearly two dozen cities with the final performance to be held on May 29th in New York City. Additional support will be provided by Trollfest.
ENSIFERUM will be touring in support of their valiant One Man Army full-length, unleashed in February via Metal Blade Records. The record debuted at #167 on Billboard’s Top 200 Current Albums Chart, #19 on Billboard’s Hard Music Chart, #36 on Billboard’s Independent Albums Chart and #9 on Billboard’s Heekseekers Chart upon its first week of release. In Canada, One Man Army placed at #69 on the Top 200 Current Albums Chart, #13 on the Hard Music Chart and #126 on the Digital Music Charts!
In anticipation of their arrival, today Revolver Magazine offers up a through track-by-track breakdown of One Man Army as presented by guitarist/vocalist Markus Toivonen and bassist/vocalist Sami Hinkka at THIS LOCATION.
