UDO DIRKSCHNEIDER: New Full-Length My Way Out TODAY On Atomic Fire Records

My Way, the newest full-length from UDO DIRKSCHNEIDER, is out TODAY via Atomic Fire Records.

My Way contains seventeen cover versions of the very songs that have influenced the musician and singer the most. All kinds of classics from music history are among them – including those that you might not expect from DIRKSCHNEIDER. Not only does a very personal story lie behind each of the tracks, but also a sometimes-surprising arrangement that, despite the very individual implementation, lives and breathes UDO’s manuscript throughout. “Now, when I hear the song, I remember the time when, as a very young UDO, I’d go out to light up the town and lived all the stories that can only be experienced late at night in the clubs.”

My Way will be available as a 2xLP gatefold (Black and Clear), digipack CD, and digitally as well as an Earbook that includes a 60-page booklet with many pictures from UDO’s life. Order yours today at THIS LOCATION.

A limited Record Store Day edition of My Way will be available in Grey Marbled vinyl and includes a signed photo card and an exclusive eighteen-track compilation of Atomic Fire Records artists on CD, out on April 23rd and available in all participating record stores. Find more info HERE.

UDO DIRKSCHNEIDER is THE constant among the German metal scene. Originally becoming world-famous as a founding member of Accept, he continues to steadily expand upon his international successes with his U.D.O. and Dirkschneider outfits. Remaining true to himself over the years in a way few musicians could, DIRKSCHNEIDER consistently bucks music industry trends in favor of following his heart. My Way is his most personal and extraordinary album to date and makes one thing clear: many in the music industry have come and gone over the years. Yet, UDO DIRKSCHNEIDER is still here.

“…entertaining and endearingly straightforward … When you have already sung some of the greatest heavy metal songs ever recorded and put in more than four decades of hard graft on the spiked and studded frontlines, you can basically do whatever the fuck you want. Happy 70th birthday, Herr DIRKSCHNEIDER.” — Blabbermouth

“A timeless singer, singing timeless classics. A must own!” — Loud

“A DJ could just throw this fun little exercise on at a party and not have to segue to anything else, for the next hour!” — Bravewords

“…every tune is delightfully enjoyable. There is no argument… UDO DIRKSCHNEIDER is the best heavy metal singer and has been for almost five decades…” — Ghost Cult

“UDO ” — Sonic Perspectives
