In the chum-strewn wake of acoustic pirate metal outfit THE DREAD CREW OF ODDWOOD‘s pillaging fourth album, Lawful Evil, Gear Gods has premiered the band’s new in-studio/playthrough video for the track, “Dead Man’s Medley.”

A nonstop auditory rampage in THE DREAD CREW OF ODDWOOD‘s stripped-down and dirty acoustic style, the unruly Lawful Evil discharges fourteen debauchery-ridden anthems, intoxicating the listener with more than forty-two minutes of top-shelf action. The new video captures a close look at this crew hammering their acoustic Heavy Mahogany backline with keelhauling results.

THE DREAD CREW OF ODDWOOD is amidst a seven-weekend overthrow of The Renaissance Pleasure Faire in the Los Angeles area, and just traveled to Chicago for a one-off performance at the Official Ommegang Game of Thrones Beer Release Party. A widespread US tour is coming together for late Summer, which will be preceded by another official video from Lawful Evil and more.

Lawful Evil was recorded at Seahorse Sound, was mixed by Aksu Hanttu (Korpiklaani, Shade Empire) and mastered by Svante Forsbäck (Korpiklaani, Apocalyptica, Dragonforce, Rammstein) at Chartmakers Audio Mastering. The band also included several guest vocalists including Brittney Slays from Unleash The Archers, Admiral Nobeard from Swashbuckle, and others. The Lawful Evil cover art was created by Mark Gibbons (World Of Warcraft, League Of Legends, Warhammer, and more). Through the support of townspeople on shores the world ’round THE DREAD CREW OF ODDWOOD self-released the putrid tunes of Lawful Evil under the guise of no label rules; the result is a necessary acquisition for fans of hammering brews to the Dropkick Murphys, crashing the renaissance faire, anybody who has quoted Yellowbeard, and diehards of Korpiklaani, and other seafaring acts Swashbuckle and Alestorm.
