SANNHET Releases New Track Via Pitchfork

As Known Flood, the debut LP from instrumental Brooklyn trio SANNHET draws closer, today another new track from the expansive album has been made available. Infiltrated by static-filled radio broadcast samples and white noise, the booming, ethereal buildup of Known Flood‘s fifth track, “Moral” seamlessly coalesces elements of post-metal, blackened rock, atmospheric doom or whatever else you want to call it into a destructive organism of sound.

Stream “Moral” now via Pitchfork.

A video for the album’s opening track “Absecon Isle” was also released by BrooklynVegan.

SANNHET‘s sprawling debut LP, Known Flood features nearly forty-five minutes of electrified post-metal, fueled with domineering riff-building movements and intense percussive hostility, unifying in a slightly blackened and trance-inducing atmospheric style, captured by Colin Marston (Krallice, Behold… The Arctopus, Dysrhythmia) and mastered by Carl Saff. Sacrament Music, a label founded at the beginning of 2013 by the owners of Brooklyn’s Saint Vitus Bar and members of local act Primitive Weapons, will release Known Flood digitally and on LP, the pressing limited to 500 with 100 on colored wax. Preorders are available HERE.

The Known Flood release show will take place February 22nd at now at Sacrament Music headquarters, Saint Vitus Bar! In addition to SANNHET, the lineup features Theologian and brethren Cleanteeth, in addition to headliners Deafhaven for an exclusive East Coast show.
