PULCHRA MORTE: Death/Doom Practitioners Featuring Members Of Eulogy Unleash Video Single From Forthcoming Debut

US death/doom practitioners PULCHRA MORTE have unleashed a lyric video for the track “Soulstench.” The haunting psalm comes by way of the band’s forthcoming, as-yet-untitled full-length, set for release later this year.

PULCHRA MORTE is bassist Jarrett Pritchard (Eulogy, producer of recent albums from Goatwhore, Gruesome, 1349, Wolvhammer et al), drummer Clayton Gore (Eulogy, Harkonin), vocalist Jason Barron (Sidirial, Harkonin, Bastard) and guitarist Jeffrey Breden. The music evokes a style reminiscent of the early waves of death/doom metal. The album marks the first publicly available recordings of Pritchard and Gore together since Eulogy’s 1995 Lesson In Fear demo.

“Soulstench” showcases the guest vocal talents of Heather Dykstra, who previously worked with the duo on the title track of Eulogy’s The Essence EP.
