NUNFUCKRITUAL: Phone Interviews With Teloch Available This Week

Set loose in October via Debemur Morti Productions, NUNFUCKRITUAL‘s In Bondage To The Serpent debut is arguably one of the more nightmare-ridden, avant-psychotic records to be released this year. Stream the near nine-minute long “Christotokos” at Debemur Morti’s Soundcloud page.

From the tail-end of the current North American tour Mayhem is wrapping up now, NUNFUCKRITUAL guitarist Teloch (Nidingr, Mayhem) is available in the afternoons this weekend for phone interviews with North American writers. Send your requests in ASAP and we’ll get you hooked up with the man. Email interview requests with the band are also honored at anytime.

The bastard spawn of Teloch (Nidingr, Mayhem), Espen T. Hangård (Altaar), Dan Lilker (Nuclear Assault, Brutal Truth, Nokturnal Hellstorm) and Andreas Jonsson (Tyrant), In Bondage To The Serpent is as evocative as it is tumultuous, much more cryptic and suffocating than the more straightforward acts the members of this cult are known for outside of NUNFUCKRITUAL. Recorded in both Norway and upstate New York, the album was produced by Teloch, mixed and mastered by Tom Kvålsvoll (DHG), and includes guest vocal contributions by Attila Csihar (Mayhem, Sunn O))), Aborym) and Ravn (1349). The cover art was to commissioned renowned artist Christian Sloan Hall (Slayer, Danzig, Marduk, King Diamond).

“…a largely mid-paced offering of dark, oppressive riffs, grim keyboard eulogies, anguished vocals and a distinctly morose air.” – Decibel

“…layer upon layer of haunting, chilling, and phantasmal density. Expectations have been more than met; this is exceptional. 4/5” – Sea Of Tranquility

“…a ceremonial soundtrack to an apocalypse played in slow motion… a very well put-together piece of nightmarish, ghoulish terror. 4/5” – Music Emissions

“In Bondage To The Serpent gets better with repeated plays as the gloomy atmosphere does worm its way in.” – About.com
