San Diego’s blackened goth punk warriors NEW SKELETAL FACES will embark on a Western US mini tour with Seattle’s Nox Novacula beginning September 16th. The five-date run will close at Nocturnal Fest, a two-day goth/deathrock event held at the famous Coffin Club in Portland.
Comments the band, “We’re playing cities we never played before, so this is a big deal for us. NEW SKELETAL FACES may be a reclusive band to most people, but we want to do this more often. More people need to be infected with our disease of darkness.”

NEW SKELETAL FACES will return to the studio this October to record their sophomore full-length and follow-up to 2019’s Celestial Disease. The new record will be recorded and engineered by the legendary Bill Metoyer, who is known for the production on Slayer’s iconic debut Show No Mercy and Hell Awaits. Metoyer has also recorded albums by DRI, W.A.S.P., and countless others.
“We’re excited to put our music in the hands of Metoyer,” writes the band in a statement. “He helped create the vibe of some of the most haunting and extreme albums of all time. There’s just a mystique to having him involved.”
