British death metal veterans MEMORIAM will unleash their sixth and final studio album Endgame on January 29th, 2027, via Reaper Entertainment.

In advance of the record’s release, MEMORIAM has unveiled lead single, “Nothing More To Say.” The band makes their intentions clear from the very first note. Built around crushing riffs, an oppressive atmosphere, and Karl Willetts’ unmistakable vocals, “Nothing More To Say” captures the essence of MEMORIAM while simultaneously showcasing the sheer force and intensity of the new album. Produced by longtime collaborator Russ Russell, the track combines the band’s trademark British death metal heaviness with a particularly fierce performance from Dirk Verbeuren on drums, whose explosive blast beats add another dimension to the MEMORIAM sound.

Willetts comments, “‘Nothing More To Say’ is the first single and opening track from our final album, Endgame. For me, there is something deeply poignant about that title. Knowing this is our final album gives those words a significance that goes beyond the song itself. It feels like the right place to begin this last chapter. MEMORIAM has been an important part of our lives. It has given me a way to express anger, grief, frustration, and hope through music, and to share those feelings with people who understand them.

“As we approach the end of this journey, I feel enormous pride in what we have created together. Releasing ‘Nothing More To Say’ is an emotional moment. It is the first step towards sharing an album that means a great deal to us, and towards saying farewell to this part of our lives. To everyone who has supported us, bought our records, come to our shows and stood alongside us: thank you. Your support has made this journey possible. There is still something left to say. This is Endgame.”

Formed in 2016 through friendship, remembrance, and a shared desire to create music again, MEMORIAM has established themselves as one of the leading voices in modern British death metal. Across five studio albums, the band has developed an unmistakable identity built on crushing heaviness, intelligent lyricism, political awareness, and uncompromising artistic integrity.

Endgame represents the culmination of that journey. Musically, the album brings together every aspect of the band’s identity: monumental mid-paced riffs, crushing heaviness, and oppressive atmosphere meet moments of reflection and emotional depth. Lyrically, MEMORIAM once again confronts war, political manipulation, social division, environmental decline, and humanity’s repeated failure to learn from history, while themes of mortality, reflection and finality give the record an additional dimension.

Produced once again by Russ Russell and featuring artwork by legendary artist Dan Seagrave, Endgame brings two long-standing creative partnerships to their conclusion. The album also features Dirk Verbeuren on drums, whose powerful and dynamic playing brings fresh energy to MEMORIAM’s unmistakable sound.

Rather than looking back or indulging in nostalgia, MEMORIAM has approached their final studio album exactly as they approached everything that came before it: with conviction, honesty and no compromises.
