Belgian black metallers ENTHRONED, who were forced to cancel the first two dates of their long anticipated North American tour due to reasons beyond their control, finally arrived in the US this past weekend. Said band leader Nornagest: “After all the chaos regarding the kick off of the U.S. World Tour, we finally landed three days ago in Tampa, Florida [at the Brass Mug]. The first show was awesome despite the fact that we did not get any sleep during 40 hours of traveling. We are looking forward to spreading Armageddon. See you there!”
The trek, which marks the band’s first time on US/Canadian soil in nine years, was originally scheduled to kick off at Club Europa in Brooklyn, New York on August 4 then hit Jaxx in Springfield, Virginia the following night. The New York show has officially been rescheduled to August 31 (not the 30th as previously reported). The Virginia show has now been canceled completely. Australian black thrashers Deströyer 666 and California death metallers Pathology will provide support through the rest of the tour.
