Lansdale, Pennsylvania-based DIY hardcore powerhouse and international tour machine, CDC, has announced the release date for their impending End recordings as February 17th, and today released the cover artwork, track listing and first single from the EP through Blow The Scene.
Following their most recent bout of international touring through Europe in December and November, and subsequent Southeastern US mini-tour with labelmates Society Sucker, CDC will bring their energetic live set to more American fans over the coming months in support of End, the band’s brand new five-track EP with some of their most paralyzing material to date. With a slick, streetwise, and tension-fueled delivery, the somewhat rap-infused vocals cast a harsh and realistic view of modern society, resulting in an unreserved, contemporary beatdown release. The tracks were recorded with Vince Ratti at Skylight Studio (Balance And Composure, Title Fight, Turmoil) and mastered by Will Yip at Studio 4 (Cop Problem, Lauren Hill, Blacklisted), and End‘s daredevil-as-fuck comic style cover art created by Fist City out of Savannah, Georgia.
Philly-based music/arts web mag Blow The Scene today debuts CDC’s “Degeneration”, the first track to be publicly unveiled from End. Let it off the chain RIGHT HERE.
Preorders for the digital and vinyl versions of End will be available in the coming days, as the record sees co-release with Beatdown Hardwear for Europe and Get This Right Records, which is partially owned and operated by members of CDC, for North America. Additionally, CDC has more touring in their immediate future, including a tour of Puerto Rico in April, in conjunction with the band’s confirmed performance at Southeast Beast Fest in Jacksonville, Florida on April 4th and 5th, joining the likes of Life Of Agony, Biohazard, Cro-Mags, Earth Crisis, Rotting Out, King Nine and more. Stand by for additional dates to be added.
CDC Live:

4/11/2015 Club 77 – San Juan, Puerto Rico
CDC is proudly DIY to the core, having toured to almost every corner of the planet over the past decade without a booking agent or manager. Their streetwise, outspoken style is forged on heavy grooves, bringing the sounds of Warzone, Inside Out and Bulldoze into modern territory, citing the likes of E.Town Concrete, Trapped Under Ice and Incendiary. Initially formed as a studio project in 2003, with an instant local buzz surrounding them, CDC began playing shows all over the East Coast and released several smaller releases over the next five years. In 2009, the band took it to the next level, releasing their five-song Burn EP and touring extensively across the globe. A slight lull in activity since 2010 has since ceased, as the band has taken back to the road heavily in 2014 and now into 2015, as End nears.
