BONES: Toilet Ov Hell Premieres Title Track To Vomit Album From Chicago Death Metal Trio With Current/Ex-Members Of Usurper, High Spirits, Contrition; Record Out Next Week On Disorder Recordings

As Chicago’s “sons of sleaze” BONES prepare to release their gnarled fourth album, Vomit, through Disorder Recordings next week, today, Toilet Ov Hell is hosting an exclusive premiere of its gruesome title track.

BONES unites drummer/vocalist Joe Warlord (Usurper), guitarist Carcass Chris (ex-Usurper), and bassist/lead vocalist Jon Necromancer (Contrition, High Spirits, ex-Usurper). Arriving with their most in-your-face release to date, Vomit sees The Windy City’s filthiest trio continue their signature blend of death, thrash, and black metal on cuts like “Beware Of Ghouls” and “Noose,” while also venturing into sludgier elements on the title track and ripper “Tower Of Skulls.” Drummer Joe Warlord even treads in early Neurosis territory on the tribal drum heavy instrumental, “Retch.” While these elements are truly new territory for BONES, overall, the band relentlessly sticks to the roots of their tainted peers in Autopsy, Coffins, Nunslaughter, and the like.

Vomit was tracked over two days at Steve Albini’s Electrical Audio by Jon San Paulo (Shellac, Pelican, Neurosis) and one day at Hypercube Studio with Sanford Parker (Voivod, Darkthrone, Leviathan). The album was then mastered by Collin Jordan at The Boiler Room (Macabre, Eyehategod, Ministry) and completed with gruesome artwork by XNA Casperson (Dawnbringer, Zuul) and design by Eva Flora. Nick Hernandez (Dysphoria, ex-Kommandant) provides guest vocals on the closing song — a cover of Van Halen’s “She’s The Woman” — which was recorded just days before Eddie Van Halen’s death and will be a CD/Bandcamp exclusive track. Prepare to defile your eyes and ears… Vomit is the grossest album of 2022.

BONES’ Jon Necromancer writes with the premiere of the title track, “This pile of sleaze just fell into place. I’ve always wanted to write a song about puke. It’s a subject that’s been overlooked for too long in my humble opinion, so I’ve had pukey lyrics in my head for a few years. When the music for this thing came together it was obvious that it should be the one. Look out for the Vomit Solo about 2/3 of the way in…”

With the track’s nasty debut, Toilet Of Hell writes, “BONES is the death metal version of a Troma movie. Like eating sushi at a gas station, their latest single ‘Vomit’ starts off messy and only gets more nauseating from there. The drums churn, the riffs are chunky, and the vocals are drenched with half-digested goo. Every second of ‘Vomit’ is an Exorcist-style pea-soup projectile making the listener gag in sickening delight. What I’m trying to say is that this song is yucky.”

BONES’ “Vomit” demands your immediate attention exclusively at Toilet Ov Hell now at THIS LOCATION.

Disorder Recordings will release Vomit on CD and digitally next Friday, October 28th. Find preorders where “Beware Of Ghouls” and “Death Sentence” are streaming HERE.

The day after the release of Vomit, BONES will celebrate the record with a hometown release show October 29th supporting Autopsy with additional support from Cardiac Arrest and comedian Dave Hill. Watch for additional shows and tour dates to be posted over the months ahead.
