BANGLADEAFY: New York City Synthpunk/Industrial Duo Drops New “Whisper Rat” Single/Video Through Nefarious Industries; Band To Support Godflesh + New LP Under Construction

New York City synthpunk/industrial duo BANGLADEAFY today drops a new single, “Whisper Rat,” and a corresponding video for the song.

A stepping stone to bridge the gap between BANGLADEAFY’s 2020-released Housefly LP and their impending fifth album now under construction for release in 2024, “Whisper Rat” takes the carnivorous synth lines and aggressive drumming that the band established on Housefly and combines them with a fleshy lyrical experience. A far cry away from the once instrumental bass/drum noise duo, this song marks a step in a mature direction for BANGLADEAFY.

Atif Haq’s drums on “Whisper Rat” were recorded by Mike Gatto, while Jon Ehlers self-recorded the synth and vocals. The track was mixed by Jonathan Vergara at Pancake Studios and mastered by Damien Moffitt, and the video for the song was created by Asmara Studio.
