The second in a three-episode series of videos hosted by EMG Pickups capturing ARMED FOR APOCALYPSE performing at EMG Studios is now playing. Following last week’s release of their “Better Worlds” anthem, this week the horde unleash the even more devastating track “The Starting Line Is A Trip Wire,” the song dropping some of the most bludgeoning riffs on the act’s forthcoming second album, The Road Will End.
“The Starting Line Is A Trip Wire” live from EMG Studios is now playing RIGHT HERE.

The Road Will End full-length will see release in North America via Ironclad Recordings on July 23, 2013. Crowned “one of the flat out heaviest records of the year,” by Scratch the Surface, who commends the band’s “hardcore forcefulness, pit-rousing groove, Helmet worship, and d-beat swagger,” ARMED FOR APOCALYPSE is already garnering critical praise nationally for their ten-track offering of no frills, sonic enormity. “It’s fast, it’s slow, it’s melodic but it’s never ever not absolutely bloody furious. There’s something utterly orgasmic about guitars churning away in a ludicrously low drop G tuning. You’ll be humming some of this stuff for days to come, it’s that good,” opines Thrash Hits. Adds Speaker Creatures, “Ever listened to an album that made you want to drag your face on the floor in a good way? ”
ARMED FOR APOCALYPSE is currently embarked on a short run of West Coast live assaults in support of the album’s quickly approaching street date, with more live news to be announced in the coming days.
