ALTERBEAST Premieres New Track Of Torment At Gear Gods; Band To Drop Debilitating New Full-Length Next Month

The musical assassins at Gear Gods today unleash the latest track of technical tenacity and demonical debauchery from Sacramento death metal ogres, ALTERBEAST. Titled “Mutilated Marvel,” the track features on the band’s forthcoming new full-length, Immortal, set for release via Unique Leader Records next month.

Meticulously assembled in several locals throughout 2013, with guitars and bass recorded at Augmented Audio in Los Angeles by former The Black Dahlia Murder bassist Ryan “Bart” Williams, vocals arranged at Mayhemeness Studios in Sacramento by Bob Swanson (Rings Of Saturn) and drums tracked at Castle Ultimate Studios with Zack Ohren (Light This City, All Shall Perish, First Blood, Cattle Decapitation, Warbringer et al), who also mixed and mastered the release, Immortal vows to supply some of the most dynamic, instrumentally adept and plainly scathing material of the year.

Relays Gear Gods: “If you’re looking for some shredding to the 10th level, ALTERBEAST may be your alter-best alter-bet…. if you want some modern technical sorcery with an old-school vibe, here you go. If you live near the tri-state area do me a favor and try to blast it loud enough to get some ice molecules moving.”

Singe the paint off your walls with “Mutilated Marvel,” now playing at THIS LOCATION.

And if you missed it, you can still break some pavement with opening track “Flesh Bound Text” below.

Formed in 2011 under the working title Gary Busey Amber Alert (GBAA), ALTERBEAST combines the teachings of The Black Dahlia Murder, Necrophagist and Spawn of Possession with the classic death metal mastery of band’s like Dissection and Morbid Angel into an irate expulsion of audio wreckage. After a year of dedicated song-crafting, ALTERBEAST unleashed their first demo in 2012 and officially waged war on the populace with numerous shows opening for Deicide, Dying Fetus, Testament, Revocation, Exhumed, Severed Savior and many others. Their crushing live assaults combined with a DIY ethos quickly earned them a revered place within the local death metal community.

Immortal will rear its head upon the masses on March 18, 2014 via Unique Leader. Further info, including preorder links, to be announced in the coming days.
