For the past several months amazing reviews of ABIGAIL WILLIAMSBecoming have been pouring in, the new direction the band has taken on this album obviously many longtime fans’ favorite recording to date.

Clocking in at nearly an hour in length, Becoming ushers in a provocative new chapter for the ever-evolving ABIGAIL WILLIAMS. Containing six vast tracks, truly the band’s most expressive and complicated to date, Becoming was recorded in various warehouses throughout Los Angeles, with the lineup for the album including returning guitarist Ian Jekelis, studio drummer Zach Gibson (ex-The Black Dahlia Murder) and as always, vocalist/guitarist Ken Sorceron, who handled all mixing, mastering, production and engineering duties.

“…an amazingly epic, expressive and thought-provoking piece of music that sees Abigail Williams reach a new level of musicianship. 9.5/10” – Metal Assault

“…without doubt their most darkest album to date with the band taking a different direction to their previous albums; a slower, deeper album, but one that can keeps you captivated… 5/5” – Metal Rules

“Becoming contains a wealth of moods both grim and triumphant, creating an album filled with dramatic depth and a fantastic listen from start to finish. 9/10” – Metal Injection

“…the band has ditched the Scandinavian influence in favor of something a lot more American-sounding this time around… The band does an adequate job of capturing the trancelike ebb and flow of this style of music…” – Decibel
