Team HAVOK are readying for the release of their upcoming new full-length entitled Time Is Up, which is slated for a March 29th street date via Candlelight Records. The follow-up to the ravaging Burn long-player was mastered by James Murphy and features ten tracks of flawlessly executed thrash anthems. Said Rock Hospital in an early review of the record: “Time Is Up is a killer sophomore effort by four dudes who do justice to their musical forefathers. Cliff Burton would smile on this release.” Added Thrash Hits, “Playing a style of metal that has been around 30 years always runs the risk of feeling tired and overly derivative, but Time Is Up is so lively and bubbling over with personality that it never so much as flirts with those potential pitfalls.” Metal Review agreed: Havok’s purest intention is to thrash your face into a circle-pitted-pulp, and more often than not they’re wildly successful.”

HAVOK formed in 2004. After two self-released albums, the band caught the attention of England’s Candlelight Records and by the Spring of 2009, the band unleashed Burn to the metal masses. The album peaked on CMJ’s Loud Rock chart at 15 and broke MediaGuide’s Top 10.
