Cadabra Records will issue both The Muse Of Hyperborea and No Ordinary Fairy for sale to the public at Noon Eastern tomorrow, Friday the 13th, at THIS LOCATION.

Additional updates on upcoming label titles will be released in the coming weeks.

The eighth titles from Cadabra Records comes the form of a deluxe LP adaptation of The Muse Of Hyperborea, a collection of eighteen poems by CLARK ASHTON SMITH. The passages have here been handpicked by leading horror literature scholar, S. T. Joshi, who handles the readings for the LP. Championed by the likes of George Sterling, H.P. Lovecraft, and others, CLARK ASHTON SMITH‘s fiction has demonstrably influenced the work of both his contemporaries, and successors, such as Jack Vance, Roger Zelazny, and Neil Gaiman, his fantastic works having seen publication in such venues as Weird Tales, Wonder Stories, Strange Tales, and more throughout his career. Sound for the record is provided by Theologian, and the artwork has been completed by C. M. Kosemen. The record will see release in an edition of 300 copies on 150-gram opaque red vinyl in a deluxe tip-on jacket.

Additionally, Cadbra presents No Ordinary Fairy, written by ROLAND TOPOR, and read by Laurence R. Harvey. TOPOR is most widely known for his role as Renfield in Werner Herzog’s Nosferatu The Vampyre (1979), as well as Threshold Of The Void (1972), The Gatekeeper’s Daughter (1975), Ratataplan (1979), Merci Bernard (1982), and many other cinematic productions. Laurence R. Harvey is probably best known for starring in The Human Centipede II (Full Sequence) (2011) and The Human Centipede III (Final Sequence) (2015). Pressed as a limited 12″, bearing “No Ordinary Fairy” on Side A and “Laying The Queen” on Side B, the record will see a run of 300 copies on 150-gram opaque purple vinyl with a deluxe tip-on jacket, liner notes by Heidi Lovejoy, and art by ROLAND TOPOR himself.
