Knotfest is hosting the exclusive stream of Settle All Scores, the merciless seventh album from Long Island, New York’s undisputed kings of slam, INTERNAL BLEEDING, on the eve of the record’s worldwide release on Maggot Stomp.

For over thirty years, Long Island, New York-based INTERNAL BLEEDING has been stabbed in the back, has suffered through terrible tragedies, and has experienced frustrating setbacks. However, they have not let these challenges define them. The pent-up anger, frustration, and feelings of betrayal of the past three decades have been crystalized and synthesized into their seventh album, Settle All Scores.

Currently embodied by vocalist Steve Worley, guitarist/vocalist Chris McCarthy, guitarist Chris Pervelis, drummer Kyle Eddy and bassist Ryan Giordano, INTERNAL BLEEDING bulldozes everything in its path with the eight new tracks delivered on Settle All Scores, a personal album that directly aims at those who have done the band wrong. It is a testament to the band’s resilience and strength in adversity. Prepare yourself; Settle All Scores is the most aggressive, slam-filled INTERNAL BLEEDING album to date.

Produced by INTERNAL BLEEDING, re-amped and mixed by Taylor Young at The Pit Studio in Sunland, California (Nails, Xibalba, God’s Hate), and mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege (Obituary, Creeping Death, Vastum), the production on Settle All Scores is simply decimating. The album is completed with cover art by Mark Richards (Heavy Hand Illustration, Tomb Gallery & Tattoo) and photography by Paul McNeill. Additionally, guest vocals are provided by Sherwood Webber of Skinless, Mikey Petroski of Never Ending Game, and former INTERNAL BLEEDING vocalists Joe Marchese, Jay Lowe, and Frank Rini.

Alongside their advance stream of the album, Knotfest has included an interview with the band, the piece reading in part, “Fueled by a sincere sense of get-back, INTERNAL BLEEDING‘s sonic brutality thrives with a chip on its shoulder resulting in eight caustic tracks of pure contempt actualized with burly riffs, pummeling percussive breakdowns and guttural growls that resonate as both cathartic and convincing. The continued fusion of hardcore DNA, metallic execution and hip-hop swagger that was once well ahead of the curve, is now evidence of the band’s forward-thinking and continued commitment to their sound.”

Experience INTERNAL BLEEDING’s decimating Settle All Scores first only at Knotfest RIGHT HERE.

“As one of the widely recognized early founders of slam, it would be a sucker’s move to believe Settle All Scores was going to abandon the thing INTERNAL BLEEDING have built a career on.” – Decibel Magazine

“Its sense of in-your-face real-life aggression, injected into powerful riffs with groove, is not something I have gotten from other death metal albums this year, which is a testament to the enduring quality of what INTERNAL BLEEDING do. They are not using their instruments to bring a horror movie to life, but tearing their hearts out to show you how real life is worse than anything conjured in Hollywood, making it a fitting soundtrack to life these days, and one of the best death metal albums of 2025.” – No Clean Singing

“Their forthcoming seventh album, Settle All Scores, distills years of frustration and resilience into eight tracks of pure, bulldozing aggression, proving once again that INTERNAL BLEEDING thrives in adversity.” – No Echo

“It’s immediately apparent upon pressing ‘play’ that the band considered leaving you with a few teeth left, but ultimately decided ‘fuck that.’ This is essentially the auditory equivalent of jumping on a rake. There are eight songs here, and a much more illustrative review than anything I’m likely to manage with words alone would simply be smashing a shovel into your mouth about that many times. The album is truly, madly, deeply pissed off…” – The Razor’s Edge

“Settle All Scores never breaks character from the tough as nails windmill puncher that it is for its half-hour duration but they’ve still found enough space to fit three or so decades of signature into it…” – Mystification Zine

“With Settle All Scores, INTERNAL BLEEDING reclaims their throne as kings of groove-laden brutality. It’s a record built for the stage, for the pit, and for anyone who misses when death metal had bravado. Three decades on, these veterans haven’t mellowed, they’ve only gotten groovier.” – Metal Epidemic

“The Long Island natives show why they’re one of the best in the game. Settle All Scores showcases why New York death metal is superior.” – Technical Music Review
