On August 8th and 9th, 2026, the terrace of the remote mountain refuge Anton-Proksch-Haus in the Austrian Alps becomes a gathering point for music lovers. BLISS MOUNTAIN VOL. 2 brings together three distinctive acts — Might, Conny Ochs, and Jacke Schwarz — in an extraordinary alpine setting. Admission is free on both days.
BLISS MOUNTAIN enters its second edition following its 2022 debut on Monte Pana in the Dolomites at the foot of the Sassolungo/Sassopiatto massif. That first gathering set a deliberate tone: small-scale, intense, independent — a quiet but determined statement for live underground culture in alpine spaces.
Now, BLISS MOUNTAIN VOL. 2 arrives.
On Saturday, August 8th, from 7pm to 10 pm, the terrace transforms into a stage suspended between sky and mountain pasture. As dusk settles, layers of guitars, voices, and mountain air merge into an immersive sonic atmosphere. The evening’s luminous highlight after the three aforementioned acts played independent sets comes from Johanna Marie, whose fire performance adds sparks and movement – a choreography of flame, rhythm, and shadow set to live music, igniting the night.
On Sunday, August 9th, from 1pm to 4pm, BLISS MOUNTAIN continues in the clarity of the afternoon light. The concerts conclude in time for the final cable car descent from the nearby Bischlingshoehe, ensuring everyone returns safely to the valley while the music lingers in the air.
A Shared Spirit: Exile On Mainstream. The label has existed more as an entity, defining connective thread between these artists. For more than two decades, the German independent label has stood for a clear artistic attitude rather than chasing trends. Under the motto “Love.Noise.Freedom.” Exile On Mainstream has built an international network rooted in loyalty, trust, and long-term collaboration. It’s a community. Artists stay. They return. They collaborate across borders and genres. The label’s DIY philosophy reflects a worldview: independence, mutual respect, and creative freedom above all. BLISS MOUNTAIN embodies that approach. It favors proximity over scale, authenticity over spectacle, and shared experience over mass consumption. The mountain setting becomes an extension of that philosophy – open, raw, and uncompromising.
Might stands for powerful yet detail-rich rock, balancing psychedelia and anthemic melancholy. Their songs speak of departure and resistance, driven by intense guitar textures and a voice that feels both intimate and expansive.
Conny Ochs has long been a fixture in the European independent scene. Blending blues, folk, and experimental soundscapes, he creates deeply intimate concert moments where voice and guitar take center stage.
Jacke Schwarz moves between indie, alternative, and poetic songwriting. His music thrives on nuance, dry charm, and a keen sensitivity to everyday observations.
As in 2022, both concert days will be streamed live via Instagram, opening the mountain gathering to an international audience. This low-threshold access reflects the festival’s open spirit: inclusive, connected, and grounded in community.
BLISS MOUNTAIN is deliberately small. Two days. A terrace above the valley. A handful of artists. A shared horizon. Music carried by wind, rock, and loyalty.
