SOCIETY SUCKER: North Carolina Hardcore Outfit Drops “Repeat Offender” From Impending EP

Having quickly surged to the forefront of the quickly growing North Carolina hardcore scene since forming in the Summer of 2013, SOCIETY SUCKER takes lessons from classic bands like Subzero, Next Step Up and Merauder and delivers their own slamming brand of hardcore comparable to contemporary powerhouses Trapped Under Ice, Suburban Scum and the like.

Lifted from their upcoming self-titled 7″ EP for Get This Right Records, “Repeat Offender” is the perfect introduction to the SOCIETY SUCKER beatdown for those not in the know. A slick, aggro guitar line keeps you on your toes for a bit but you’re not match for the tracks slamming breaks and belittling gang chants that show up.

“Repeat Offender” is now playing at Soundcloud HERE and Bandcamp HERE; click one of the links and stand the fuck back.

Following their debut demo dropped last year, the Summer of 2014 will bring forth the first official release from SOCIETY SUCKER, having recently hooked up with Get This Right Records for the unleashing of the self-titled EP. With five enraged tracks loaded with more brutal hooks than a fleet of whalers, Society Sucker was recorded in February of this year at The Skylight Studio with Vince Ratti and mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege, and bears bold cover art by Steven Kulesza. The band has performed heavily regionally along the East Coast with an extensive list of local and internationally touring acts, and is now booking shows in support of the new EP, including a record release show for the 7″ on September 13th. SOCIETY SUCKER is a band committed to keeping hardcore hard. This is the proof.

Officially out on September 16th, preorders for Society Sucker are on seafoam green, gold/yellow clear or black wax are live at Get This Right Records HERE, and digital preorders HERE.
