Future Fables, the brand new third solo full-length from German singer/songwriter CONNY OCHS, is out now worldwide through Exile On Mainstream, and playing in its entirety courtesy of The Sleeping Shaman.

Boasting a singular, stunning, heartfelt style of melodic folk/rock, and one of the most striking voices in either genre, CONNY OCHS shows exemplary growth in his delivery with Future Fables, which undoubtedly results in some of the man’s finest and most communicable songwriting yet. Recorded as always in full analog with producer/engineer/studio owner Thommy Krawallo, at the new rural location of his Kabumm Studio in Brandenburg, the remote surroundings helped create an aura of warmth in Future Fables, with an uplifting feeling replacing some of the melancholy of earlier albums. OCHS also widely expanded upon his instrumental repertoire, here incorporating drums, piano, bass, and organ, of course in addition to his wide use of acoustic and electric guitars, and that unmistakable voice.

The Sleeping Shaman’s stream of Future Fables states, “CONNY OCHS and I go way back after first meeting him when he supported Wino on his first solo outing, where I was simply captivated by the solo stylings of this German troubadour. Part Townes van Zandt, part Nick Drake, part Neil Young and part simply CONNY OCHS can be used to describe his sombre tones, and with that in mind, it is with great pleasure that The Sleeping Shaman was asked to stream his latest studio recording Future Fables…”

Stream Future Fables at THIS LOCATION.

A brand new video for the single “Killer” will be released in the coming days, a trailer for the video playing RIGHT HERE.
