DISCOURSE Now Streaming Entire Debut LP Via Revolver Magazine; Sanity Decays Out Today Via Closed Casket Activities

Revolver Magazine is now hosting a stream of Sanity Decays, the debut LP from Columbia, South Carolina act, DISCOURSE, as Troy, New York-based label Closed Casket Activities officially releases the album today.

A young act with several prior EPs and comp inclusions on their résumé, DISCOURSE‘s rib-snapping delivery is finally fully realized on their first full-length release, as Sanity Decays drops nearly twenty-seven minutes of rampant tunes which recall respected heroes’ past works with contemporary revitalization. Meshing angular and technical influences from the likes of Turmoil, Indecision, Botch and others with a slick approach which will undoubtedly draw fans of other top quality vigorous punk/metal-influenced hardcore acts, DISCOURSE recorded the music for Sanity Decays with Andy Nelson (Weekend Nachos) at Bricktop Recording Studio in Chicago, and the vocals at The Jam Room with Jay Matheson in the band’s hometown. Nelson mixed the album, and it was mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege (Integrity, Nails, Tragedy), the final platter shrouded in cover art by Jesse Schaller (Skeletonwitch, Xibalba, Suburban Scum).

In recognition of its street date, Revolver Magazine is now streaming DISCOURSE’s Sanity Decays in its entirety at THIS LOCATION.

The 12″ vinyl edition of Sanity Decays is now available in three color schemes — 150 on black/pink split, 350 on tan with splatters, and 500 clear — all including a digital download card. Orders can be placed, right HERE, including shirt and package bundle deals, and the digital is available HERE.

With a Southeastern US tour alongside cohorts, Blistered, and appearances at February’s Midwest Blood Fest with Bitter End, Fire & Ice, Naysayer, Bent Life and April’s New England Metal & Hardcore Festival alongside Code Orange, Homewrecker, Overcast and more confirmed, DISCOURSE is just days from announcing another wave of tour dates in support of Sanity Decays, which will continue to be the case throughout the year.
