LAGO/CALM HATCHERY Split Single Confirmed For Release Through Selfmadegod Records And Battleground Records – Poland’s Sefmadegod Records and US-based Battleground Records have joined forces to release the upcoming split 7″ from LAGO and CALM HATCHERY, two top-tier upcoming acts within the international death metal scene. Following a pair of demos, Arizona’s LAGO erupted into the scene with their Tyranny debut LP through Battleground Records in 2014, an album that showed the band delivering a ferocious brew of classic but modernized death metal, surrounded in a blackened fog, wholly bearing an oppressive atmosphere. GNAW THEIR TONGUES: Invisible Oranges Streams “Silent Burned Atrocities” From Looming Hymns For The Broken, Swollen And Silent LP – With GNAW THEIR TONGUES‘ latest full-length calamity, Hymns For The Broken, Swollen And Silent, nearing release in early December, a new track from the opus has been unveiled through an exclusive stream of “Silent Burned Atrocities,” hosted by Invisible Oranges. Fully performed and recorded at the Bejaarde II, Drachten, by GNAW THEIR TONGUES founder Mories who also mixed and mastered the album, Hymns For The Broken, Swollen And Silent also features guest vocals on “Our Mouths Ridden With Worms” by Hekte Zaren. During a brief run of less than three years (1993-1996), CHRISTIE FRONT DRIVE managed to turn punk on its head via their trademark (and often imitated) sound that holds up to this day.
