BRUCE LAMONT Confirms Back-To-Back European Tours With Macabre, Keelhaul

Multi-instrumentalist BRUCE LAMONT (Yakuza, Bloodiest, Circle Of Animals, etc.) has been confirmed as support for two European tours over the next month and a half. First he’ll take his solo act on the road opening for murder metallers and fellow Chicagoans Macabre for nine shows of their upcoming tour of the old continent, followed immediately by a thirteen date run with Cleveland’s progressive sludge act Keelhaul! Between the two back-to-back excursions, LAMONT will hit over a dozen countries including Germany, Sweden, France, Switzerland, Italy, Czech Republic and even two performances within the Russian Federation. View the full confirmed tour routing below.

BRUCE LAMONT released his first solo album Feral Songs For The Epic Decline via At A Loss Recordings in January of this year, to which he’s received endless praise from international media outlets and open-minded fans abroad. With several bouts of regional touring stateside under his belt over the past few months, he also performed several shows at this year’s SXSW festival, including a somewhat impromptu set with Eyehategod’s Mike Williams.

“Lamont has foregone most conventions of common (and even uncommon) metal and assembled something closer to the spaced-out soundtrack to some kind of indescribable psychological nightmare: less physical aggression but considerably more mental warfare.” – Alarm Press

“…his bravest, most personal-seeming and ambitious collection to date.” – Stereogum

“…it’s like a prog/dark Americana folk/space rock/psychedelic/kraut/electronic/tribal collage that’s not only some of the darkest stuff I’ve heard in some time, but one of the best combinations of all that mentioned.” – Hellride Music

“…avant-garde exploration into a darkened musical mindset that Lamont possesses, bringing his fearless creative flair to more delicate pastures on this solo effort.” – Ytsejam

“…a monumental album of self expressionism through music that one simply has to hear to truly comprehend. 9/10” – Apoch’s Metal Review
