SXUPERION: Decibel Premieres “Myriad” Video From Cosmic Blackened Death Project; EP To See Release Via Bloody Mountain Records Next Week

SXUPERION

Myriad is the forthcoming full-length from Sierra Mountains-dwelling cosmic blackened death project SXUPERION.

SXUPERION is the solo project of Valdur, Weverin, and Endless Blizzard drummer Matthew S. The Myriad EP, the final release of the Cosmic Corridors series, follows the musical and instrumental path laid by the 2016-issued Cosmic Void offering centering itself on the view of a world being governed by human insecurities through the eyes of a space traveler.

In advance of its release next week, today Decibel Magazine is debuting the visual accompaniment to the EP’s title track. Issues Matthew S., “Three albums and one EP. will conclude the SXUPERION – Cosmic Corridors series of dark, atmospheric death metal, and space-ambient music. This video that I made for the song ‘Myriad’ is a story of myself as a space traveler falling to Earth in the present day. I look around and don’t like what I see, with the weakening of the human spirit and intellect due to technology and greed and shallow materialistic lust. Or the empty religions warning people not to look with open eyes. I choose to dig deeper into my soul so I can grow and not rely on a false sense of attachment in order to get more attention or more empty ‘things.’ I want to destroy that decaying part of our world and travel to the beast within where everything one might need can be found.”

All space-cannons, fret-board wavelengths, vacuum hymns, and molecular control panel mixings were captured at the Bloody Mountain Bunker and Canyon Lodge Studio by Matthew S. with mastering by Sean Psykho Combat at the Ritual Room. Myriad will see official release on CD and digitally September 1st. Preorders will be available at THIS LOCATION.
