Midwestern metal quintet, SKELETONWITCH, have released a second behind-the-scenes video documenting the recording of their highly anticipated new album, Serpents Unleashed, due to drop this October.

Serpents Unleashed — which ties a bow around the band’s rambunctious first decade of blackened metal — will be released in North America on October 29th, in Australia, Germany, Austria and Switzerland on October 25th and on October 28th in the UK and the rest of Europe. The album, which was recorded at GodCity Studio earlier this year with Kurt Ballou (Converge, Trap Them, High on Fire), has been hailed by Decibel as SKELETONWITCH‘s “best effort to date.” Agrees Metalholic in 9.5/10 rating: “Every song, every melody, every note just screams metal.” View the sneak peak of the band tracking “Burned From Bone” at THIS LOCATION.

SKELETONWITCH will hit the road this Fall with The Black Dahlia Murder. The voyage will follow another bout of shows supporting Swedish occult rockers Ghost B.C. in addition to a pair of headlining gigs of their own. The band’s confirmed itinerary is listed below.
